179 Support Your Nervous System Through Anxiety

Do you suffer from anxiety, nervousness, or critical inner voices? Have you experienced your share of trauma? I’ve had a lot of crappy stuff happen in my life. I’ve had traumas, both “little t and big T traumas,” and I’m sure you have, too. I also have a history of anxiety. However, what I also have are tools to help me work with my nervous system, to work with the traumas, to manage my anxiety, so that I can forge ahead and live my purpose and help women all over the world to live their own purpose. In today’s episode I’m going to share with you some of my journey with anxiety and the tools I use to manage it so that you can learn and use them as well. I talk about:

  • Stress responses and trauma responses in our bodies
  • The importance of setting aside space in our days for ourselves
  • Moving the stress and anxiety physically out of our bodies
  • Slowing down to reduce reactivity
